Amanda Marotz Roemer, LCPC NCC
Amanda Marotz Roemer, LCPC NCC, serves diverse clients, including LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodiverse adults with ADHD and autism, and people from all spiritual journeys and faiths. She provides services for a wide range of conditions, including PTSD, personality disorders, disassociative disorders, anxiety, depression, and more.
I've worked extensively with trauma survivors to help them find healing from their past and begin creating a life worth living for themselves in the present. I am particularly interested in helping clients cope with chronic pain and shame and enjoy working with individuals on all walks of spiritual journeys and faiths.
My passion and area of expertise are working with complex trauma and dissociation, utilizing an eclectic combination of Integral Somatic Psychology, EMDR, DBT, and person-centered therapy. I utilize an empathetic, direct, straightforward approach and encourage active client involvement and feedback. I strive to remain current on practices in my field.
I understand that many people in the neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, recovery, and secular communities have faced unique challenges and adversity. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space for all I serve.
